This video is a walkthrough of obtaining the Rainbow Drop and using it to create the bridge to the "Isle of Dragons" in the original Dragon Quest on the NES.
In order to be given the Rainbow Drop, the hero must bring the Stones of Sunlight, Staff of Rain, and Erdrick's Token to the Southern Shrine.
The Rainbow Drop creates a bridge that can be used to access Charlock Castle, the final dungeon and home of the Dragonlord. It is also the source of the only animation effects on the world map in the entire game. Later Dragon Quest games would use other animated effects on the world map in different ways.
