Alex Weber never imagined moving back to her home state of Kansas. After college at K-State and working in Salt Lake City, she didn’t see rural living as a career option until she discovered remote work. Now, she’s working for a remote architecture firm out of Independence, Kansas, while enjoying the slower pace of life in Courtland.
In her own words, “The hardest part was making the initial move, but once you’re here, the community is so welcoming. The cost of living is lower, and it’s easy to get involved.”
