Green giant arborvitae! They are so useful in the landscape. You may have one already and love it or potentially regret it. Either way, they are substantial so plan accordingly.
Info about these trees:
-Botanical name is thuja standishii
-They get 40-60 feet high
-12-18 feet wide
-Growing zone 5-8
-Light: full sun to part shade
They are fast-growing so therefore ideal to fill in an area quickly for privacy. But be VERY careful to avoid planting too close to the house, sidewalk & other walkways, driveways, and neighbors’ property lines and plants. And of course, other trees and shrubs.
