How to use your Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde™ purifying fan

Use the Dyson Link app to control, schedule, monitor and customise your purifying fan.

Step 1. Unpack your Dyson purifying fan and remove all the components from the box.
Step 2. Then, remove the protective packaging from your catalytic and HEPA+carbon filters.
Step 3. Press down the side buttons.
Step 4. Click your catalytic filter into place. It’s permanent, so you don’t need to maintain or change it.
Step 5. Attach the HEPA+carbon filter to the outer covers then reattach them.
Step 6. The serial number is on the bottom of the machine.
Step 7. Use it to activate your guarantee through the Dyson Link app, or on the Dyson website.¹
Step 8. Place your purifying fan on a flat, stable surface in an area where you will get the most benefit from the airflow and plug it in.
Step 9. Turn on your machine using either the button on the front or the remote control.
Step 10. Select Auto mode using the remote control.
Step 11. Your machine will assess the air quality and begin purifying if needed.
Step 12. The remote control attaches magnetically, so you always know where it is.
Step 13. You can also control, schedule, monitor and customise your machine by connecting it to the Dyson Link app.
