Did you fall for the 30-day trap? 🐌❌
Most people calculate:
3ft (Up) - 2ft (Down) = 1 foot per day.
So, 30 feet = 30 days. WRONG!
The Logical Solution 💡:
The key is what happens on the final day.
For the first 27 days, the snail gains 1 foot per day → Total: 27 feet.
On the 28th day, the snail starts at 27 feet.
During the day, it climbs 3 feet.
127 + 3 = 30 feet!
The Twist 🧠:
Once the snail reaches the top (30 feet), it has EXITED the well. It doesn't matter if it slips at night because it is already standing on the ground outside!
