All the pages are fully editable so that you can adjust them based on your class size, budget, student needs, time restrictions, etc. This digital product includes 6 activities with tips. Activity 1 is hands-on and can be done over a few months depending how fast the seed sprouts. Activities 2 and 3 give students the option to draw and describe their observations. In activity 4 students cut the pictures, arrange them in the correct order and glue them. It also includes a poster which can be used as an answer key. Activity 5 can be used as a slide show to give students a closer look. Activity 6 has picture cards students can arrange in the correct order.

I create step by step YouTube videos for teachers on how to use this product in the classroom. The teacher version explains each part of this digital product and tips on how you can use it in the classroom. The student version is a video you can play in the classroom and students can follow along. You can pause the video as needed for your classroom. You can play it on the projector for the whole class or have students watch it on their individual devices and work at their own pace.

Note: These products are created on google slides. Once you download the product you would edit and print the pages you want to use. You could also project some of the slides or use them in your PowerPoint.

It’s always fun for students to plant in their own tiny pots. Buy some extra seeds & potting soil along with small nursery pots. You could also use small plastic cups but be sure to poke some drainage holes.

I use plastic zip bags for germinating seeds, but you could also place them in a sealed, clear plastic container. Just make sure the towel stays damp.
