The WISK (Women in Statistics in Korea) session focuses on the pressing challenges in modern statistical inference.
Contemporary statistical inference must address issues arising from massive and complex data, computational constraints, limited interpretability, and evolving understanding of core statistical concepts. There is a growing demand for statistical methods capable of handling high-dimensional and complex data structures while still delivering reliable, interpretable, and actionable results.
