Model sampling is a procedure used in Statistics to simulate the observations on specified probability distribution. If you know the parameters of the probability distribution then using model sampling we can draw sample observations from the said distribution. In this video we learn how to generate observations from continuous probability distribution like uniform distribution, exponential distribution and normal distribution. Simulation is a method used in visualizing real situations in an artificial way. Ex To visualize arrival pattern and waiting time at a service station artificially we can use simulation. Different probability models are used for this purpose.
