This episode focusses on why I stood and prayed for marriage and why I needed to forgive my husband. I also explain our season of separation and how we managed to grow in respect and communication with one another.

During this time even though it was hard, this was the most fruitful season of my relationship with the Lord. I learned to depend on Jesus for everything. It was a time of genuine self examination and a renewed intention to honour the Lord. I began to dig deeper into the word of God learning about a Godly marriage and the role of a husband and wife. It was here that I realised we had been doing marriage all wrong, it was on our terms and not honouring the word of God.

During my season of separation I began to grow in the mind and character of Christ and this impacted my husband the most. I pray that whoever is watching this episode they are encouraged to fight for their marriage regardless of what the circumstances look like at hand. Take your eyes off your spouse and put them back on Jesus. He is faithful and no marriage too far gone we are a testament of that.

I hope that you realise your hope rests on God and nothing else. And just like I stood for my marriage by Faith have the courage to do the same for your marriage. Hold onto this promise.
