Hi Jolly Camelpalooza Festival and Matt Bremen Memorial | Quartzsite, Arizona

Описание: The small town of Quartzsite, Arizona has a long standing history with Camel and a man by the name of Hi Jolly. In honor and remeberance of its past, the town of Quartzsite puts on a weekend long event where they celebrate the history of Camels and Hi Jolly. Which include a parade, live music, vendors, camel rides and and camel march to the Hi Jolly Burial site.

This year was a little different as the town of Quartzsite lost someone near and dear to them. A filmographer and documentary maker by the name of Matt Bremen who had a passion for Quartzsite and its long history of camel and Hi Jolly passed away. In 2017 Matt Bremen made a documentary all about Hi Jolly and his camels, which directly linked to the town of Quartzsite itself. Matt Bremen's passing was directly felt by the community and as such, a Memorial was also held for Matt Bremen during the Camelpalooza festival and at the burial site of Hi Jolly.
