Trying to fix a USB microphone hissing noise on Ubuntu Linux (Pulseaudio)

Описание: There's been a feint hissing sound in my last few videos. In order to try to get rid of that, I set up an audio monitoring feed and then reduced the level in Pulseaudio until the hissing sound was no longer audible in my monitoring headphones. I hope it worked!
