Latest developments take place in the Kerala gold smuggling case. Enforcement Directorate has decided to question CPM State Secretary’s son Bineesh Kodiyeri again. Bineesh has been questioned by ED earlier in regards to the Bengaluru drug racket and the gold smuggling case as well. Bineesh was questioned for eleven hours before he was allowed to let go at the Cochin office
According to the sources, there have been discrepancies in Bineesh’s statements and also that of Swapna Suresh’s close aide’s statements.
Bineesh Kodiyeri’s name came up when the kingpin of Bengaluru drug racket M. Anoop had mentioned that someone in Kerala has helped him to set up the restaurant.
