Описание: On the 1st of April 1813, the whaling ship Oscar of Aberdeen was smashed against the Bruntscallie rocks in Greyhope Bay, resulting in the loss of 42 of its 44 strong crew, all drowning with in sight of their friends and family on the shingle beach, unable to help them. A dark, sad event in Torry's history, memorialised today in the street names of Oscar Road and Oscar Place. This was filmed for the University of Aberdeen's Green Badge Tour Guide Course in 2018, working with students from the Elphinstone Institute.
