The Klettgau region is a landscape and region in the Swiss cantons of Aargau, Schaffhausen and Zurich and in the Waldshut district of southern Germany. The area in the northernmost part of Switzerland is located only 10 kilometers from the famous Rhine Falls and the city of Schaffhausen. In the largest wine region of northern Switzerland, beautiful vineyards surrounded by rounded hills and rustic villages characterize the panorama.

Among the most famous villages is Hallau, where the largest contiguous vineyard landscape in German-speaking Switzerland is located. The eye-catcher and landmark is the mountain church of St. Moritz, which towers above the vines into the sky of the Klettgau valley.
