Описание: In her talk, Birgit brings you on a rich journey through Sudan where she pioneered and organised the first cultural festival for the young people of Sudan. Birgit and her team faced countless challenges: government threats and fearing for their lives were only two of many. Despite such difficulties, Birgit learned one thing: that in order to create waves in this world, one must first create small ripples, and to do so, one must be able to overcome the fear of failure. Birgit is here to remind us all that by “living an impactful life, you can be a source of existential hope.” Birgit is an expert in Marketing and Communications with a Masters degree in Social Science and Business Administration. During her professional career, she led big-scale projects for global corporations. Until 2015 she was the Head of Marketing and Communications for Ernst & Young. She is co-founder and board member of the NPO Swiss Initiative - culture projects. In 2015 she left EY to become a location independent onlinepreneuer. Being a digitisation enthusiast, she joined Digitalswitzerland in February 2018 as Head of Public Dialogue and overall project lead Digital Day.
