Tigere Talks Elephant Fatherhood | Somopane 💚

Описание: In the lead-up to Father’s Day, we’re sharing a few special moments from Tigere, our Elephant Manager and the human dad of the herd.

Tigere has grown up alongside the elephants, watching them mature and take on the role of father figures. None of the bulls fathered the youngsters, but they each help guide and shape them as they grow.

In this video, Tigere speaks about Somopane. Calm, intelligent and grounded, Somopane keeps the peace, teaches the youngsters discipline and has a quiet strength that sets the tone for those around him. Years ago, he even helped track poachers, showing just how sharp and intelligent he is.

Somopane is a gentle leader and a brilliant role model for the younger elephants.
