Through the UPLB-DOST Food Innovation Center, this project will develop and optimize colored tubers and root crops (sweet potato, potato, yam and taro) processing into powder, paste, baked and noodle products (specialty bread mix, no-bake cookies mix, cake mix, cassava cake mix, and gluten-free noodles), fermented food products and non-alcoholic beverages (wine, soju-like beverage, yogurt and yogurt drink), and natural colorants for sausages for partner industries: Kalsangi Corporation, Panaderia Pantoja, and Quezon Food and Herbal Processing Center.
