President Donald Trump is heading to Georgia. His visit to Rome is taking place as early voting in a special election to replace a seat in Congress vacated by Marjorie Taylor Greene begins.
Greene, a Republican, gained notoriety as a staunch Trump supporter in Congress and was often under fire for polarizing comments and conspiratorial beliefs. But at the end of 2025, she had a falling out with Trump and has since been an outspoken critic of the way the administration handled the Jeffrey Epstein controversy, foreign affairs and the cost of health care.
The special election day for the district is March 10.
