Extra note on motor cleaning:
Brushed motors can also be run in water if you really have a lot of mud in them and they're a cheaper, sealed can. Run at low power in clean water for a while and they'll clear out well. Follow with a light (10W) oil at each end to give the bearings a little love and you're away.

For more expensive, rebuildable motors, follow the manufacturer's directions for servicing. The rinsing advice in this video is targeted at the cheaper and most common sealed-design brushed motors as found in RTR crawlers. If in doubt, ask in the comments or in your favourite rc forum or group. Cheers :)

Bonus tip: put a little tape over your wheel vent holes if you can. It'll keep water out of the foams!
