This game has a bug where people are wrongly treated by the game. Infected people are actually healthy. While healthy people can later turn out to be infected. Game had this bug in a demo, but it wasn't fixed during launch of this game. This results in extremely frustrating gameplay experience as primary gameplay loop simply doesn't work.
In this case, survivor had red eyes which makes her infected. However, I noticed that it's less red than usual, indicating that game might not had rendered symptom properly and thus yellow eyes look like red eyes. It has conjuctivits or how that is spelled. However, as you can see from the video, it isn't properly rendered. It supposed to have yellow inside the eye. However in game it's pure red with white middle. If survivor looks to the side, it can look like a red eye.
