Описание: Not only are the UK government not doing anything to solve the problem of growing wealth inequality, they are actively contributing to increasing income inequality. This is through the extension of the period over which income tax threshold are frozen (to 2031), the change to National Insurance tax rules to only allow for a maximum of £2,000 per year in pension salary sacrifice, and through the increased net new borrowing target for NS&I which encourages ordinary people to save cash in suboptimal ways like in UK Premium Bonds. Increasing income inequality will only serve to exacerbate the problem of growing wealth inequality, and they need to be pressured to roll back these recent problematic policy decisions.
