BRS General Secretary RS Praveen Kumar appealed to Harvard University to withdraw the certificate given to Revanth Reddy, stating that Revanth Reddy has gained recognition as the Chief Minister facing the highest number of criminal cases in the country, with 89 cases against him, and that he was caught with bundles of cash in the cash-for-votes case and served 50 days in jail.

Accordingly, on Thursday, he emailed a letter to the university's Chairman Alan Garber and Dean Weinstein. He stated that as an alumnus, he is deeply disappointed and angered by the university's decision to award a certificate in the executive program 'Leadership in the 21st Century: Chaos, Conflict, and Courage' to a person who is involved in scams as Chief Minister and uses objectionable language against opponents everywhere.

He criticized the university's decision, calling it an example of institutional negligence. They objected that Revanth Reddy, who is serving as the Chief Minister of Telangana, is engaging in divisive politics based on caste and religion. They stated that it is objectionable for a university that has been nurturing world-class leaders with ethical values ​​in various fields for 400 years to issue a certificate to such an unethical leader.
