one of my club mates Sorin , is a viking reenactor
he wants to qualify as a "viking archer".
to do so, he needs to hit a shield leaning against a spear jammed in the ground.
with a shield bosse balanced on the spear .
needs to be able to hit it 3 times from 30 yards witha 30@28 bow
using flu flu arrows and rubber blunts without the bosse falling .
then he will be allowed to shoot at people at viking reenactment events.
this is really hard . its hard not to hit hard .
sorin's goal is to hit people without hurting them .
i say good luck . and keep practising alot .
