The Reality Principle is the story of being lost in a nameless land, guided only by neural experience and uncovering profound truth in the unknown. At once simple and evolved, a sobering concept is subtly considered while the listener is effortlessly lured forward. Throughout, Optic Nerve Engine conceives an obscure environment wherein authentic moments are fraught with mundane struggles.

The Reality Principle is split into three parts - Landing, Drift and Relinquish - each representing a unique point on the protagonist’s journey.

Perplexing and gloomy, the space is defined by loneliness. Before long, the exploration of unnatural surroundings begins and the situation becomes clearer. There is no one here. Although this truth is unsettling, there is a pull.
