🐍 Plot (Premise)

Anaconda (2025) takes a self-aware, satirical approach to the monster genre.

Synopsis:
Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) are lifelong best friends deep in a midlife crisis. Desperate to do something meaningful, they decide to remake their childhood favorite film — the 1997 Anaconda.

To make it authentic, they head to the Amazon rainforest to shoot their indie passion project. But chaos turns deadly when their movie set collides with reality — and a real, giant anaconda begins hunting the crew.

The result: a wild blend of Tropic Thunder and Jumanji — where the line between fiction and survival blurs, and the movie they’re dying to make might literally kill them.
