As the St. Benedict's Prep soccer team heads into the final stretch of a remarkable season with an undefeated 19-0 record, Essex County Boys Soccer Championship, and NJISAA Non-Public A Sectional title, our sights are set on achieving a perfect 20-0 season, an NJ State Championship, and a National Championship.
In this video, the St. Benedict's Prep Goalkeeper Union demonstrates essential goalkeeper training exercises that help us stay sharp, focused, and ready for match play. As the season progresses, fatigue and injuries can take their toll, so it's important to emphasize recovery, proper nutrition, and stretching. I constantly remind my goalkeepers that their bodies are their most valuable asset, especially as soccer performance plays a critical role in college recruitment opportunities.
