Host Robin Richmond presents this unique organ radio show in his inimitable cheery style. He was always so passionate and positive about the organ world. This is another tape from my organ radio archive there again; this was recorded on a very cheap cassette tape brought with pocket money back then from the likes of Woolworths, So it's amazing this tape has stood the test of time in all these years. This wonderful organ show over these early years introduced me to some great organ players, some from the old cinema days and some of the younger generation of organists in the late 1960s on into the 1970s with the likes of David Shepherd, John Mann, and Brian Sharp, just to name three. I so enjoyed re-listening to this old show on this very old cassette tape again, so I hope you may as well. Sadly we have nothing on Radio 2 like this now, here in the UK, which is very sad indeed. Lovely to hear the 6 ranks Christie Organ from the Pavilion Cinema Hoddesdon Herts. I looked at buying this small 6 rank Christie organ many years later on!
