Hi! Welcome back to RBT Exam Review. Today we are reviewing operant behavior and respondent behavior. Operant behavior guides applied behavior analysis. Respondent behavior is classical conditioning or pavlovian conditioning. Remember, operant evokes a response and respondent elicits a reflex. Operant and respondent can be difficult for RBTs and BCBAs but we are here to explain it in simple terms. RBTs and BCBAs need to know these terms for the RBT exam and the BCBA exam.
