Future 'Malcolm in the Middle' stars Frankie Muniz, Justin Berfield and Erik Per Sullivan, hook us up with a preview all the new shows coming to Fox Kids in the Fall of 1999, and maybe a few older ones as well, thanks to a friend-of-a-friend having smuggled out a bunch of VHS tapes.
We check out clips from Spider-Man Unlimited, The Avengers: United They Stand, Xyber 9: New Dawn, Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot, Godzilla, Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, Beast Wars: Transformers, Beast Machines, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, NASCAR Racers and Digimon: Digital Monsters.
Many of the shows would not survive beyond that season. Spider-Man Unlimited would get pulled after 3 episodes before returning a year later to burn off the rest (ending on a cliffhanger), thanks to getting crushed by Pokemon on Kids' WB, BiG guy and Rusty would make it 6 episodes before returning over a year later in 2001. Xyber 9 would get pulled after 1/2 the season, only to pick up over 7 years later on Toon Disney.
