New Balance Numeric's recent trip to Asia for the Brighton 345 shoe spanned several countries and the locales ranged from ancient antiquity to modern metropolis (check out last month's NB# 345 video to see how the team owned the night). When the team touched down in a tsunami it was clear that their trip would be an adventure; when the guys learned to navigate differing levels of hospitality, they knew it would be a wild ride. Even with its wildly fluctuating weather and attitudes towards skateboarding, Asia offers skaters a fine balance—as long as you’re open to something new.
