Friends and Dragons - Prison of the Grand Seraph - last map 6-1

Описание: Full recording of Friends and Dragons mobile game's newest and hardest tier 3 heroic dungeon. This is Prison of the Grand Seraph last level 6-1 completed with full 3 crowns.

There is a lot of thinking and planning to achieve this victory, so its a long video. Just skip to the actual move if you are in a hurry!

I did several attempts to get this and many were a lot smoother and faster, but then I did some mistake or bad rng or whatever happened :) I also opted for faster play instead of making a 6 hour long recording. This resulted in many failed runs too.

First move of every stage is planned but this doesn't make this easy by any means. Enemy moves in random order and to somewhat random directions, so after first move you have to analyze and think a lot.

I had to stop recording at 16:40 because there was a maintanence break. Then when I came back, I forgot to start recording and resumed it right after my first move during enemy's turn. This move (stage 6 first move) is preplanned so viewers lost around 8seconds of playtime only :)

There is a lot of things to consider when playing this heroic dungeon.

1. Cowardice debuff
If you dont attack, you get a stacking debuff which increases your damage taken by 100%. It can stack infinitely high. And when you hit 1 enemy, you remove 1 stack of the debuff. So healer cant get hit in later stages at all. this mostly comes to play in stage9 with evade AI Sister of the Faith elementalist boss. But has to be though about along the way there too.

You have to know the next stage and the first move there, so that you can plan who gets to hit enemies in the end of previous stage to get rid of the debuff stacks.

2. Punishment
When you kill an archon, you will take dmg equal to you own base dmg. Alaric and Arkhan are good archon killers with high hp pool compared to base dmg. Also Randolf can kill 1 archon, if you plan it safely.

Again you have to know the next stage and the first move there, so that you can make sure to heal those heroes who take punishment high enough to survive. But you cant take any extra turns to only heal, because then cowardice will stack up and you will die.

3. Brutal dmg
You have to protect Alaric from too much brutal dmg so that he can survice stage 9 first move (2x punishment + Sister of the Faith hit). I ended up using exalted dust to upgrade armor piece for Alaric just for this reason. There is probably many other playable moves for stage 9, but this is the one I found and sticked with it.

Also avoiding brutal dmg is preferable for other heroes too since they have to tank a lot in stage 9 with minimal healing backing them up.

4. Stage 7 - mid boss Grand Seraph
Boss does minimal hit dmg, but applies punishment and wither to target. This means that whoever is tanking drops to 1 hp (wither) during Seraph's turn and then takes the punishment hit at the end of the tanks next turn.

I countered this with Nymeria diagonal heal + Alaric lifeleech. This combo got Alaric from 1 hp high enough to survive the punishment hit.

I used 2x Randolf to do nice brutal dmg to boss and at the right time (good enemy spawns and boss low enough) went in for the kill.

5. Stage 9 - Final stage
I had an excel spreadsheet prepared, where I precalculated how much dmg the Sisters would do to each of my heroes. So I didnt have to inspect the Sisters that much in the video since I knew exactly what their max dmg to my heroes would be. This you can see in many spots where my heroes lived with minimal HP.

Elementalist evade AI is tricky. I failed a few attempts where the Elementalist decided to run to the left edge of the map. I learned a lot about the evade AI mechanic from previous maps and it comes to play here with nice manipulation to get the elementalist to right side of the map.
