ESC provided design, supply, and installation assistance for the 39-meter Emergency Bridge Replacement in a remote rural mountainous area in the Philippines. This bridge serves as the only access route to the neighboring barangay, where schools, small shops, workplaces, and essential services are located.
The original bridge was destroyed by severe flooding, leaving the local community isolated and struggling to transport essential goods and reach education, livelihood, and basic facilities.
With ESC’s technical assistance, the bridge superstructure was assembled in just seven days, ensuring the community regained safe and reliable access ahead of the heavy rain and storm season in the Philippines.
