Sri Lanka is the first country to kickstart our big adventure around Asia. The key to making it last as long as possible, is to stretch our money as far as it will go! In this video we will show you how much things such as accommodation, food and travel cost in Sri Lanka, where the best spots along the southwest coast are, and that you don’t need to buy excursions to see the very best of a country. (Warning: may contain childish humour.)

Our average spend per day after one month in Sri Lanka is £25 per person! Around £5 of that is accommodation, and the rest is generally transport and food. Our journey through Sri Lanka so far looks like this: Colombo - Aluthgama - Galle - Mihiripenna - Mirissa. This part of our route took 2 weeks.
