Every board has the ability to dissipate heat and it is free. Given enough space, we can use the PCB to act as a heat sink. In this video I will show you how to create power planes (on both sides), stipple them using via stitching, and remove the solder mask to allow better thermal contact. This technique works with all EDA software but we will use Proteus.
