If you are job hunting as a developer, you may use GitHub as part of your professional profile. Having an active and complete profile can help you get those first interviews! In this talk, you will learn about GitHub features that can make you stand out and make your profile attractive to potential recruiters/engineers looking to hire. I will also share some tips on appealing READMEs for your side projects.

Isabel is a Software Engineer from Portugal, currently working at Globality and is based in London, UK. She is passionate about contributing to Open Source and helping people feel less intimidated by it. She is a GitHub Star and an admin at AnitaB.org Open Source community. Previously, she participated in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) as a student in 2018 and as an admin in 2020.
