His OSD, Suresh Chandra, has written a letter to the SSP Security stating that the bulletproof, pilot, and scout vehicles in the Deputy CM’s security convoy are not mechanically reliable.

The letter also mentioned that the jammer vehicle deployed with the security convoy was removed about six months ago and has not yet been returned. The issue has now sparked a political controversy across Jammu & Kashmir, with questions being raised over the safety and security arrangements of the Deputy Chief Minister.
