Broken or snapped trigger wires on climbing cams are a common problem. Many people recommend fixing these with plastic strimmer cable. That's fine, but it does kind of advertise how much of a bum you are. Here is a much more elegant and more durable solution that is almost as cheap.
Disclaimer: The trigger mechanism on a cam is non loading bearing part so I was happy to repair it myself. However, remember that you are responsible for you own safety!
