The Dead Sea Scrolls are ancient Jewish and Hebrew religious manuscripts discovered nearby the Dead Sea, Israel. Dating from the 3rd century BCE to the 1st century CE, the Dead Sea Scrolls are considered to be a keystone in the history of archaeology with enormous historical, religious, and linguistic significance. We got exclusive access to the scrolls thanks to The Israeli Antiquity Authority. We had the rare opportunity to film some of the very carefully preserved scrolls at the Preservation Lab in Jerusalem, graciously exhibited and explained by the lab director, Dr. Joe Uziel.
