I will be riding the eastern half of my local trail I n Modesto, CA. The pathway is called Dry Creek Trail that is situated within the Thousand Oaks, and East La Loma parks near downtown Modesto. The Trail is approximately 8 miles long. It parallels the banks of the creek as it interlaces in and out of moderate to dense woodlands. There is a paved path that is used by park visitors for exercising, casual walks, and to get around the area. Running parallel to the paved path is the dirt trail that mountain bikers, hikers and runners use to add a little bit of spice to their exercise routine. I will be highlighting some parts of the trail as to provide knowledge of features that makes Dry Creek Trail a repeat destination for mountain bikers and those who seek an active lifestyle. Enjoy.
