A look at the first year Modelling & Simulation module, part of our Global Design Engineering degree.
Students designed and programmed an autonomous robot to complete a course line from start to finish – ensuring it stopped when reaching the finish line and sending out a buzz tone to signal termination of the run.
This module saw students developing their technical, programming, debugging skills. And the module concluded with a race to see which team’s robot made the fastest lap time!
