According to sources in the Cyber Crime branch of Maharashtra Police, actresses Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey were booked as accused in the pornography case for which Raj Kundra has now been remanded to judicial custody. Their statements had been recorded by the Cyber Crime branch. In their statements, the two actresses had made allegations against the businessman. According to her former lawyer Charanjeet Chanderpal, who had managed to get anticipatory bail for Sherlyn Chopra from Bombay High Court in a case registered by the Cyber Crime branch, the actress used to run her own app with semi pornography. In 2019, Poonam Pandey had moved Bombay High Court to file a case against Raj Kundra and his associates, who had collaborated with her for an app, and later allegedly used content featuring her even when the contract had been terminated.
