단상 앞에 있는 고재 기둥. 겉으로는 단순한 구조물처럼 보이지만, 이 공간의 분위기와 흐름을 바꾸는 핵심 요소입니다.
이 기둥은 단상과 주방, 다이닝을 자연스럽게 나누며 공용부 전체의 시각적인 균형을 만들어줍니다.
또 하나의 역할은 '프레임'. 통창만 있었다면 시선은 바깥 풍경에 머물렀겠지만, 고재 기둥이 시야를 잡아주며 단상까지 하나의 풍경으로 끌어들입니다. 공간을 나누면서, 시선을 확장하는 구조, 기둥의 역할입니다.

The reclaimed wood column in front of the raised platform.
At first glance, it may look like a simple structural element, but it is a key feature that reshapes the atmosphere and flow of the space.
It naturally defines the platform, kitchen, and dining area, creating visual balance throughout the shared living space.
Its second role is as a frame. Without it, the view would rest only on the landscape beyond the full-height windows. Instead, the column anchors the eye and draws the platform into the scene, turning the interior into part of the landscape. Dividing space while expanding the view—this is the role of the column.
