I think I now have my chainsaw back up and running correctly. The bogging has stopped and it seems to be running great again. I replaced the fuel filter, air filter, spark plug, and most importantly the gas tank vent, which I still believe was the main cause of my problems.
This is my journey to build a DIY off grid cottage in the remote Central Canada wilderness, after first building 1Km of driveway over a creek and rugged terrain through wet areas and along the side of a small mountain.
