The X1 Pro is a portable 3-in-1 laser system with touchscreen control. It uses air-cooled lenses and diode lasers from Coherent. It can cut up to 3mm steel, weld various materials, and quickly clean rust and paint from metal surfaces.
Be aware that you will need some standard welding supplies like wire and buffer gas, as well as some slightly less-standard (for the US) adapters to go from your gas bottle to the welder's 6mm tube.
I had some issues getting this to work in sub-zero temperatures, and in feeding Argon from a normal US tank. However once I got it going it was relatively easy to weld, cut, and clean metal with it.
