It's time yet again to add another incredibly beautiful banjo to my "Bucket List" series, and it gets no better than an original prewar flathead Granada... This monster belongs to a close friend of mine in town & I've wanted to shoot this for a long time. The banjo started life as a plectrum 4 string and converted to 5 string status before my friend got it over 20 years ago.
It was a joy to play this axe for an afternoon and is a banjo I won't soon forget!

Technical stuff:
Video recorded on an Canon 70D DSLR with a 24mm f2.8 lens.
Audio recorded with Cubase Pro 10 on a AKG C12-VR Tube Condenser Microphone, through a Rupert Neve Designs Shelford Channel mic pre.
