Is a TWINZER better than a TWIN? Presiado Diamond Tail Twinzer Surfboard Review

Описание: IMPORTANT CORRECTIONS:
1. I said in the review that there is humming from a twin only fin but more accurately, it's a vibration. That does not seem to happen or hasn't happened yet with the Twinzer.

2. It's spelled canard and not conard.

3. The TJ Twinzer does come a bit shorter at 6'8 but it's 43L which in the construction is too buoyant for me. I knew at one point, I felt it was too big for me. Thought it was the length but it was the volume.



I was fortunate enough to get to test a hand shaped board by Tim Presiado. Tim is an underground shaper out of Seal Beach and from what I've seen, the man has a keen eye for design and curves. To me his curves resemble Album Surfboards but without the price tag.

In a nutshell, this Diamond Tail Twinzer is a super fun, exciting, fast, and user friendly board. It's not a shortboard and it definitely isn't a mid length although at times it may have looked it under my feet. For me, I would put it in the category of a miniature mid length.

I really enjoyed surfing this board and in many ways, it helped me develop some muscle memory for carving my cutbacks. I tried channeling my inner Parko.
