Parrots are wild animals, and especially Moluccan Cockatoos can become dangerous if not in experienced hands. Only through the death of an owner is when many Parrots finally gain their freedom. Cockatoos are one of the most neglected and abused birds on the planet because it is almost impossible to keep a cockatoo Happy and Healthy in Captivity. So many cockatoos and other parrots die behind rusted bars and never know what it's like to stretch their wings and enjoy the warmth of the sun. Most Cockatoos do not make good pets. We need to STOP the demand of baby birds so the breeders will stop bringing more prisoners into the world. We need to care for the Cockatoos in captivity and do our best to care for them.
