I used to think ministry was about what I could give. The lessons I could teach, the words I could say, the strength I could somehow muster. But it turns out—ministry did more to me than I ever imagined doing for others.
From this wheelchair, I’ve learned to see life from the bottom up—more humble, more honest, more dependent on Jesus than ever before. The conversations with students, the hard questions, the raw emotions—they’ve shaped me. And through it all, God kept whispering: “I’m not done with you. I’m just getting started.”
Don’t underestimate what God can do through your brokenness. It may be the very place He works most powerfully.
