Imam Mahdi (علیہ الرضوان) is one of the most awaited and significant personalities in Islamic eschatology. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ foretold the coming of Imam Mahdi near the end of times when the world will be filled with ظلم (oppression), injustice, and moral corruption. His name will be Muhammad bin Abdullah, and he will resemble the Prophet ﷺ in character and conduct. During his time, justice will spread across the world just as oppression had once spread.
