The Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity donated a house that is scheduled to be demolished to the Fayetteville Fire and Emergency Department and Fayetteville Police Department to be used for Fire Investigation Training.
Instructors used certain rooms within the home to ignite fires in a variety of methods including fires that are intentionally set and fires that are accidental in nature, so that students in a basic Arson Investigation class could gain hands-on experience in a real world investigation scenario.
